Making decisions as an artist.
Right now, looking back, things seem to be a little scattered. This is okay. I have a new toy, I’m learning how it all works, and I’m figuring out how I want to play this game. What I have been producing up to now has been very process-oriented, very much a discovery experiment. And, while I have what now seems like an inkling of an idea of where to move forward, I feel like I need to make a firm short-term decision as to how to take things to the next level. The next level being a two-tiered place of a) what do I want to focus on and examine and reiterate and b) what do I want to allow to be sold.
Not murky waters, but calm seas of reflection and meditation. Decision does not have to be the force of the wind, but instead calculated direction.
