First steps.

This post is dedicated to Plug1 and Plug2 at WHAT I’M SEEING, two photographers I derive many moments of escape and visual joy from, as I read their postings on the interwebs each week. I recently acquired a new camera, and I also recently fractured my ankle. This set of photos is a selection from my first day of walking after three weeks of couch confinement, a stroll through Golden Gate Park with my new Nikon D40 and my 18-200mm lens.
