I think it is important for artists to think of themselves as a business.

If we think of science as a business, we see that it has the capability to pharmacologically alter the population, send metamorphosis upon the breath of the sky, and stun consumers with frightful, bright white light amidst digital media.

Artists have the opportunity to draw the world back into its silences. Corridors and basements of thought uninterrupted by modifications, but embraced by adaptations. A visual and sensual currency freely distributed to the masses, at all levels of poverty, so pleasing and so redeeming, that there will be those willing to capitalize its perpetuity.

We may very well save the world. At the very least, we can beautify it.
